The Place That I Want To Visit

Hi, everyone!
Now, I want to tell you about a place that I picked as my object in my English presentation and also picked as the most unique place in my English group.

So,this time I want to tell you about a place that I want to go there. It is Taman Bunga Nusantara. Do you ever heard that place? 5 years ago, my family and I actually went there and it was one of my memorable holiday. It is really an amazing places.

Taman Bunga Nusantara is one of tourist attraction in Indonesia. It is located on Mariwati Street 7 km in Cianjur, West Java.Taman Bunga Nusantara is the first floral display garden in Indonesia. This garden is full of a variety of famous and unique plants from all over the world. It shows the vast area for the growth of flowers from other countries like Africa, South America, Japan, and France.This garden area are 50.000 m2 huge one. It's really huge area, right? This garden has various kind of park. There are 8 kind of park that in that garden.

The first park is Taman Air. The main point of this park are their water plant. It has many kind of water plant one of them is the lotus. But it isn't a small lotus that we always see. They have a big lotus that originate from South America.

The second is Taman Mawar. In this park, we can see many kind of roses that grow in the side of the walk path. Most of the roses are from China. It is a romantic park for a couples.

After that, they also have Taman Prancis. The design of this park is adopted from Reinaissance's style. The distinctive point is its geometric design. It is one of my favourite park because we would feel like we are in Reinaissance era.

Then, they have a labyrinth. This is really a huge labyrinth. You can see the labyrinth from the top by visit Menara Pandang, beside the labyrinth. Because I was young and very scared, I didn't go to the labyrinth back then. And now, I really want to go there.

The fifth park is Taman Bali. This park has a building that look like a real Bale KulKul, an icon of Bali. There are many cambodian flowers here. The atmosphere here really like Bali's one eventhough I never go to the Bali.

Taman Mediterania is a desert park. They decorated this park to look like a real desert with a white sand, stones, and a various kind of desert plant. One of the desert plant is cactus. I like this park too because It feels like I become a cowboy.

Then, they have Taman Palem. Their collection that they display in this park are more than 100 kind of palm. This park was really huge and you can see many kind of palm here.

Beside Taman Prancis, they also has another country park. There is Taman Jepang. This park was made based on Japan history and culture. It is really quiet here with a sound of water splash from a little river there. It has Japan's atmosphere. It is one of my favorite park because I felt relax to rest there.

And beside their park, they also have a greenhouse with a various kind of flowers in there. They have a display carpet that made from flowers too. It's really beautiful.

Taman Bunga Nusantara have many kind of facilities that can help the visitors to enjoyed their adventure there. They have a transportation facilities like dotto train, garden tram, and wira - wiri car. When my group discuss about a unique thing from my presentation about Taman Bunga Nusantara, they picked dotto train. It is because dotto train has a unique design that look like an European train.

They also have other facilities like a cafe, a motel, a gallery, a picnic area, and of course a playground for family.

Why I choose this place? I choose this place because I think this place is a right choice to spend our holiday. We can go to this place with anyone because it's not like a children playground or a boring place. We can also learn more about a various kind of flowers from all over the world. If we go there, we can be closer to nature and we can relieve our stress by play in the nature. And the most important, because it's in Indonesia and it's a good tourist attraction like others in other countries.

World Tournament & Techno Fest 2016

Hi, everyone!
Now, I want to tell you about my experience to joined WTTF

WTTF is World Tournament & Techno Fest 2016. This event was held by OSIS 3 Senior High School. This event was held on Saturday, August 20th 2016. This event were participated by student of X and XI grade. In this event, our batch competed with our senior batch. One class from our batch will compete with one class from our senior batch. The winner of this tournament was the most unified batch. Also, we should talk in English from the beginning until the event finished.

First, we gathered in Lapangan Bali. Each class should wear different clothes. My class were wearing white stripe clothes with sport pants. We got an instruction from the committee of this event. My class, X Science 7 will compete with our senior, from class XI Science 7. Then we got a map about the location of the tournament. They also told us about the rules. Every group that won the games will be give a piece of puzzle from the committee. If the group lose, they will be attacked by aliens and their ballon (as their soul) will be eased. In the end of this game, each of the batch should complete the puzzle that they got from the games and the fastest one will be the winner. Two class from different badge will be guided by two mentors.

The first place was Lapangan Bali. In this place, we played 2 kind of games. The first game was keeping your hands. In this game, each player will give a handkerchief and they should keep it from other group. The group could take a handkerchief from the other group. The player that lose his/her handkerchief was out from the games. This games was won by our class. The second game was a quiz about technology. We should send one player as representative from each group. The player from my class was Bayu. My class won this game too.

The second place was Taman Tongkeng. We went there on foot. It was a really hot day and we walked for a long time. We were really tired and thirsty. But, we still kept our spirit to play all of the games. When we got there, the committee were waiting for us. We played a game. The game was to make a robot from ingredients that they gave us. The ingredient was only cardboard. We made a robot with that cardboard and we didn't add other ingredients. Our robot was a really simple robot. But we still won the game.

The third place was Taman Foto. We also went there on foot. The game that we played there was a focus with a strategy games. We should moved our feet and our hand on the colorful carpet based on the command from the committee. The player from our class were Azzam and Saskia. But we lost the game. It's a pity but we didn't think much about that. We were attacked by the aliens and our soul became only one.

The fourth place was our beloved school, 3 Senior high School Bandung. Because we were really tired, we went there by public transportation. We arrived there in different times because we used different public transportation and also some of my classmate choosed to walk on foot. As we waited for them to arrive, we bought cimol cause we were really hungry. Some of my friends that also bought cimol didn't cancel their cimol's order because the others was arrived and we should move to another game quickly. So, some of my friends just share the cimol with the others.

In the school, we watched a film about technology. After that, we played a playstation games. Each of the class should send their representative to play the game. My friend, Nanda, play the first round of the game and she won. I was really amazed by that. I thought it is very rare to see a girls play a playstation game like a master. And after that, we played a game to eat spicy samyang. My class also won this game.

In the end, we gathered again in Lapangan Bali based on our batch and we completed the puzzle together. Our batch was the first one to complete the puzzle. We, 3'2019, won the tournament and became the most unified batch.

I felt really happy because this event made our batch unified and solid.We also learned to become brave and practiced to build our cooperation and made strategy together. I also think that we can improved our English more because of this event. We can practice to speak in English and listen to English. I really enjoyed this event eventhough it was really made me tired.

MEGANTARA

This been a long time since my last post about my intoduction. Now, I want to tell you about my experience a few days ago.

On Saturday, September 10th, 2016, my school, 3 Senior High School Bandung held an event. The name's is MEGANTARA. MEGANTARA is an Indonesian Culture festival from 3 Senior High School from sumatra culture until papua culture were displayed in this festival.

In the morning, there was a Megantara's parade.10th grade student of 3 senior high school (excluding the committee of MEGANTARA) should joined a MEGANTARA's parade. We gathered in Lapangan Bali on 8 a.m. We must wear traditional clothes from West Java. The girls should wear kebaya and the boys should wear pangsi. I wore white kebaya and black samping. I arrived at lapangan Bali on 7.30 a.m..I waited at my car because it was still early. I waited my friends long enough. When my friends arrived, I came out from my car and gathered with my friends. Then, I found out that not only 10th grade of 3 Senior High School that will joined the parade, but actually, the student of  some kindergarten also joined. They wore costum such as traditional clothes, animal costums, and many more. I was happy to see them because they were very energic and adorable on that costums.

At 9.00 a.m., we started the parade. We walked around from Bali street to Merdeka street and then to Java street and went back to Bali street. We made a line. In the front, there was a Reog Ponorogo dancer accompanied with their musician that played a traditional music instruments. One of the traditional music instrument was a gong. The second line is the student of some kindergarten with their cute costums. and the last were the student of 3 Senior High School. Some student of committee of MEGANTARA also joined us. We under the guard of the police so it was safe.

In the beginning, it was cloudy and little rain, but it turned later to a sunny day. We walked around together and promoted MEGANTARA. The dancer danced really hard under the sun and the musician were energic to play their instrument to made a beautiful music to accompanied the dancers.The student of some kindergarten also shouted their kindergarten's yel - yel. after that they also sang some children song. my friends and I joined them to sang a children song. in the middle of our parade, my friends made a yel - yel to promoted MEGANTARA.It sounded really good. they put the date and also the place of MEGANTARA. So that, people could know and went there. They shouted really loud. My friends and I joined them, the boys and the girls shouted it louder. For me, it was quite embarrassing because we became a center of attention but later, I really enjoyed this because we did it together.

We finished the parade at 9.30 a.m.. Then we rested for a while. Some of my friends, Qinthara, Maisa, Karina, and I went to Karina's house to rest and waited for MEGANTARA's open gate. Megantara's open gate was on 11.30a.m. So, we changed our clothes and rest in Karina's house in Java street because her house is the nearest from Lapangan Bali. Two of my friends, Hanny and Qori also joined us. We chatted a lot especially about Bandung and its story because Karina and Hanny were not originally from Bandung.

After we prayed, at 12.00 a.m. we went to Lapangan Bali, which was the place of MEGANTARA. we went there by Karina's car with her parents.After that we went in the entrance gate, we got a stamp in our hand. then, our bag was checked. we didn't allow to bring perfumes and food or drink from outside. After the check, we went in the festival area. We got a free fruit tea.

The festival had amazing decoration. It was like I travelled around Indonesia. The first thing that I saw was a miniature of Gadang Clock from West Sumatra. beside the miniature, there was a sate padang stand. After that, we went to Java's area. In this area, we could see many traditional food of Java and Batik stand.there also Kalimantan's area and  Sulawesi's area. And the last was Papua. there was a ghost house. Then in the back,there was a huge stage. in the side of the stage,there were many food stands.

The first thing that I did after I looked around the area of MEGANTARA was eating. I ate Sate Padang as my lunch.Iit was my first time to eat sate padang. It was delicious eventhough a bit spicy. After that I walked around the festival with my friend. We visited many stands there. Karina, Maisa, Fathya, and I wanted to go to ghost house but it was really crowded. We should waited for a long time in the queue. Then I decided not to go to ghost house. As a replacement, we sit on the field and enjoyed a performance from Musik Klasik 3 and other performances.

I went home at 3.00 p.m. because my brother returned to Bandung from his study in Malang. I wanted to meet my brother and played with him, so I decided to go back home early. Actually, I wanted to join my friends to play in MEGANTARA until night because the guest stars like The Changcuters and RAN would perform on that night. Eventhough it was a pity but I think my family will always become my first priority. So, I still felt very happy to joined MEGANTARA and met my brother.

I hope there will be a festival again like MEGANTARA and I can visit it together with my family.
